The article, titled <em>Turning Europe\u2019s Unexploited Seaweed Potential into a Zero-Waste Bio-Based Future<\/em>, i<a href=\"https:\/\/maritime-forum.ec.europa.eu\/turning-europes-unexploited-seaweed-potential-zero-waste-bio-based-future-eu4algae-insiders_en\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">s now available on the Maritime Forum<\/a>.<\/p><p>EU4Algae is a <strong>European Commission-led initiative<\/strong> launched in 2022 to accelerate the growth of a sustainable and innovative algae sector. It brings together nearly <strong>1,200 stakeholders<\/strong>, including researchers, industry representatives, technology developers, public authorities, business-support organisations, algae farmers, producers, NGOs, and investors. As part of its ongoing efforts to strengthen connections within the European algae landscape, <strong>iCULTURE has recently initiated a collaboration with EU4Algae<\/strong>. This engagement enables the project to participate in a broader ecosystem of knowledge exchange, connect with relevant stakeholders, and contribute to discussions that support innovation and sustainable growth across the algae value chain.<\/p><p>In this context, the <em>Insider\u2019s Perspective<\/em> series highlights key stakeholders contributing to the development of Europe\u2019s algae sector. <strong>iCULTURE was selected for<\/strong> its integrated approach combining <strong>artificial intelligence, ecological modelling, and advanced bioprocessing<\/strong> <strong>to valorise residual seaweed resources<\/strong>.
